绿地全球投资7500万美元生产医用级酒精

为低碳经济生产原材料和添加剂的绿地全球公司(Greenfield Global)将在安大略省约翰斯顿的工厂投资7500万美元，生产用于抗击COVID-19的医用级酒精。

安大略政府将从其安大略省共同基金以支持这项工程。

Greenfield will undertake a major upgrade of the Johnstown facility’s distillation technology to produce over 114 million litres, or the equivalent of over 150 million one litre bottles, of specialty medical-grade alcohol annually, which will be used in hand sanitizers and other applications that rely on high-purity alcohol.

该省表示，该项目将有助于减少安大略省对其他辖区作为高档酒精来源的依赖，并将加强该省在个人防护装备生产方面的地位，同时创造新的就业机会。
